ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Progress

Newly Diagnosed

People who have recently received a diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis often have questions about the disease, the prognosis and the treatments available. The staff at the Rocky Mountain Chapter is here to help you navigate this path. If you have not already registered with our chapter, please do so by calling 303-832-2322 or email us at careservices@alsaco.org.

The Chapter is able to assist you with finding a second opinion, information about the disease and how to live with ALS.  You can contact us with questions about insurance coverage, health care resources, equipment needs, and how to obtain support for yourself and your family. We have informational handouts available by clicking on the FYI Fact Sheet link below. Specific questions may also be answered by contacting our chapter at 303-832-2322 or careservices@alsaco.org.

If you would like to receive care from a multidisciplinary team of professionals who will follow you throughout the course of the disease, we encourage you to consider the ALS Clinic at The Colorado Neurological Institute.
